I Just (Had an impossible Idea)! Now What? With Melanie Cote

This week on the podcast my good friend Melanie Cote is on the show, sharing her story of I Just (Had and Impossible Idea)? Now What? Which 3+ years is now reality (kind of).
Melanie is a proud parent and fierce advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities like her daughter Alma. She recently started a non-profit social enterprise called Do Good Donuts, which hires and trains young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to prepare them for jobs in the community. Her goal? To change the way people think about employing people with ID/DD before her daughter, currently 8, is old enough to find a job she loves.
