One thing that isn’t spoken about enough is the need for safe and intimate pleasure -- and today’s guest is on a mission to make that a reality for so many people.

Melanie Cristol is the Founder & CEO of Brazen Goods and the inventor of the company’s patented product Lorals. Lorals are ultra-thin elastomeric underwear that create a fluid-impermeable barrier during intimate activity.

Designed in consultation with fashion industry experts to look like silky lingerie, Lorals have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Vogue Japan, and a photospread in Playboy’s print edition.

Prior to creating Lorals, Melanie graduated from Columbia Law School and then litigated healthcare, consumer-products, and civil-rights cases in California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Listen in as we talk about:

  • What Lorals are and what people use them for
  • How Lorals are changing the intimacy game
  • The importance of safe intimacy and how Lorals help you achieve that
  • The manufacturing process and making a product that fits a range of sizes
  • Melanie’s advocacy work for the LGBTQ+ community
